Copper alloy – double loop square (annular outer shape) broken horse harness buckle with an offset strap bar. There are traces of the iron pin – dated mid 19th-mid 20thC. 2 sides are flattened out and there is the indent for the pin visible. Discovered by a metal detectorist on Pitgrudy Farm, Dornoch.
