Copper alloy/white metal flat button– copper alloy with silver/tombac plating. It has a cross design on front, complete loop. The bag is labelled ‘Militia – Sutherland Loyal’. 18th or early 19th Century. Discovered by a metal detectorist on Pitgrudy Farm, Dornoch.
