A covering minute to the Industry Department, New St Andrews House, Edinburgh from the Roads Transport Department, Southern Division Highland Regional Council forwarding correspondence and a house and garden plan, to provide background information in respect of the Sluice Keeper's house at the Mound. (Total of 7 pages). The minute refers to a telephone call concerning a burst water pipe in the house and the first of the enclosed letters, dated 2nd June 1951 from the Ministry of Transport, Divisional Road Engineer (Scotland) refers to "the transfer to the Minister of Transport of the sluice keeper's house and the old bridge and sluices at the Mound".
