As stated in the original print, my great-Aunt Anne (Ira) Sutherland (Dux Pupil of Dornoch Academy 1928) is in the middle row, second from left, not the front row.
Unfortunately the Historylinks watermark blurs the information.
If possible in future for other such photos with information at the bottom it might be better to put the watermark in a blank part of the photo.~ Thank you.

Further to my previous comment and the information from the "John O'Groat Journal" I have found a clipping from the "Northern Times" of the same photo with all the persons named: "Secondary Department IV and V Mid-Twenties-Back row- John Morrison, Ian Budge, Charlie Ross, Andrew Budge, Donald Grant, David Murray, Alex Neish, Donald Matheson, Jack Grant, Gordon Will, Donnie MacDonald, Walter Johnstone, Ellis Fraser. Centre row- Celia Phimister, Ira (Ann Margaret Christina) Sutherland, Hughina MacKay, Rita MacKay, Wilma Bremner, Beth Bentinck, Ella Ross, Margaret Murray, Dorothy MacLachlan, Mona MacDonald, Donald MacLeod. Front row- Marion Murray, Cathie Ross, Mr MacKay (Maths), Miss Davidson (French), Miss Stephen (Art), Miss Strachan (English), Mr Moir (Headmaster), Annie Munro, Edith Dingwall."
