As stated in the original print, my great-Aunt Anne (Ira) Sutherland (Dux Pupil of Dornoch Academy 1928) is in the middle row, second from left, not the front row.
Unfortunately the Historylinks watermark blurs the information.

Front row- Marion Murray, Cathie Ross, Mr MacKay (Maths), Miss Davidson (French), Miss Stephen (Art), Miss Strachan (English), Mr Moir (Headmaster), Annie Munro, Edith Dingwall."
