My Aunt Margaret Munro did not emigrate to Canada but her daughter Hazel Alvin did. Margaret's brothers did not emigrate to Canada either but her oldest brother Thomas emigrated to South Africa. This Munro family, Donald (Danny) and Catherine lived in Roseville, North Street, Dornoch. Their childrens' names are - Thomas, Donald, George, Margaret, John, Hugh, Cathel, Christina and Mary. Catherine also brought up her nephews Duncan and Alister after her sister Annabella (also called Munro) died after being burnt in a house fire in 1918.

Margaret Munro is a Sister of my Dad John Munro. On the 1911 census their parents Donald (Danny) and Catherine Munro were with their three first born children, Thomas, Donald and George living in North Street, Dornoch.
