Monochrome photograph of the Freedom of Burgh ceremony 1928 from an album with stamp of C M Gillespie, Castle Street, Dornoch inside, marked "With compliments Xmas 1928" containing 40 photographs (two to a page with eight missing) of the Duke of Sutherland and Viscount Rothermere receiving the freedom of the burgh, and the 1928 pageant. Album is cloth covered, grey with yellow, green, blue, red and white splotches.
