Bag of 59 metal items found in the Dornoch area, mostly coins but including a few buttons. Three of the coins are pierced. All are badly corroded and worn but some will be identifiable by a coin expert. Some appear to be 16th/17th century.
Includes one definite Charles II copper bawbee (6 pence) dated 1677 and several with the figure of Britannia on the reverse so dated to & post 1797. One of the buttons has 'London' inscribed on back with a name.
