With the engine livery showing BRITISH RAIL, the date must be 1948/9 and not 1940.
Comment left on 17 January 2011 at 12:38 by Anon The date on the Museum catalogue gave a range from 1940 to 1960 and obviously the earlier date is incorrect. I will amend the date here to 1949 and make a note on the catalogue. Administrator
