MP3 audio recording of an interview with Bill Grant in which he recounts his memories of childhood memories including an RAF aircraft crashing at Dornoch airfield. The recording was part of the 'Their Past Your Future' project which culminated in an exhibition at Inverness Museum in April 2010.

Aircraft caught fire and burnt out, Dornoch Sutherland. Pilot Flying Office MORRIS, Thomas Charles (47701) D.F.C. Killed, T.T.O. Corporal SOMERVILLE, William (626169) killed. Accident time 09.45, Duty: Target Towing. F/O Morris was admitted to Golspie hospital dangerously ill from multiple injuries and burns and unfortunately died of his injuries on 27th September 1943. On the 28th September Wing Commander POTTER arrived at R.A.F. Evanton to investigate the accident. Mr Bill Grant, an eye witness remembers hearing the engine running roughly then cut out all together, the pilot attempted a forced landing but hit the high spots in the ground, bounced up again just missed the farm house gable end banked to the left and crashed through a stone dyke wall into trees and caught fire; 04.10.43 S.O.C.
