Typescript for a book about Sutherland by Miss Lyon, with handwritten additions and amendments, for Chapter 11 - Earls of Sutherland in early 17th c. (fourth chapter on this period). Incorporates many of the previously catalogued articles and notes. Chapter is 16 loose sheets plus bundle of notes 17 loose sheets. Originally in brown paper cover (thrown away).
