Book on banking 1904
Book (.001) entitled "Bills of exchange, cheques, promissory notes" by Allan McNeil, published by W.Green & Sons, 1904. Inscribed "W.G. MacIntosh, Pitgrudy, Dornoch, 1909. Includes letter (.002) from John Munro to Heritage Society. Dark blue cloth covered hardback covers with the above title and author inscribed on front and "2/- nett". Spine has the title, author and publisher in gold lettering. Covers and spine are a little worn around edges and slightly stained. Inside front cover is just starting to split along spine. Pages are dirty along edges. Handwritten in dark blue ink on front page is above inscription with date of 23/9/09. Letter from John Munro who was given the book by Mr MacIntosh. Mr MacIntosh worked in the bank at Dornoch, Lochmaddy and Kelso. Mr Munro started in the bank in 1945.
