Mrs Beeton's Family Cookery

Book entitled "Mrs Beeton's Family Cookery" published by Ward Lock, with several recipes pasted or written in front. Contains interesting illustrations and advertisements. Inscribed "from Phyl. Feb.1942". Blue cloth covered hardboard covers, some damage along edges and covers are faded. Spine is a brighter blue with enbossed decoration and "MRS BEETON'S FAMILY COOKERY" in gold letters. There is a small blue sticker at bottom of the inside front cover with "CHAS A. SAGE, LYNN ST. BOOKSELLERS AND STATIONERS, WEST HARTLEPOOL". First page has several holes near top (from pins?) and is coming detached. 2nd page has two recipes pinned into the book and one written underneath.
