Balloan Estate Chartulary. Indexed leather bound book containing handwritten copies of legal documents relating to the estate. Two plans of parts of the estate are fixed into the book. Also 6 typewritten pages relating to agreement with Dornoch Burgh Council. 1893-1967. There are several plans which appear to be waxed cloth. Includes changes of ownership of various properties around Dornoch including "Fynbar" to Robert Grant; 4 Station Terrace, Cathedral Manse, North Street, "Strathnaver" re James Fergus and Ruby Hardie, "Benoran" to Mr Alexander Gray, "Braemore" to Mr and Mrs George MacKenzie, Solicitor, "Burghfield House Hotel" to William and Christina Currie etc.
