Dornoch Cathedral and Parish, by Rev. Charles Bentinck. 563 pages. A history of Dornoch including photographs, monochrome reproduction of painting by Sir George Reid of skyline of Dornoch, and plan of the Burgh. Dark blue card covers with front cover gold depiction of the Earl's Cross,, and spine gold embossed with title and author. Flyleaf has details of original gift of book to Lord Blythswood in 1927, as a memento of his visit to Dornoch for the installation of the first master and office bearer of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Sutherland, written by the author. Later inscription of gift by Miss Boa of Brora to Mr. Mitchell, surgeon at Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie in 1982.
