Srath Ach a' Bhathaich - the middle Evelix

Colour photo of fields at Achvaich Farm with deserted crofts. Two photos joined for panoramic view. Mounted on a board with 4 other photos (numbered separately). Of interest only to the archaeologist, this view almost directly across the Evelix Valley shows the lower Achvaich fields in the foreground, bordered on the north by the valley road. On the rising, partly arable land, beyond the road at least three evicted crofting buildings are seen lying in rubble while, high on the hill behind, near the top of the left hand frame, is the old track from the Birichin road to the upper Strath Achvaich, no longer in use.
