Will it be possible to obtain or purchase a PDF version of this booklet?
Comment left on 26 February 2014 at 05:43 by Jeremy Stone The original booklet is 215 x 173 mm with 25 pages. To produce a pdf version of acceptable size for the Image Library, an A4 version has been produced with two scanned pages to each A4 page. Administrator

I'm curious: was this booklet produced in 1920 after the war? Was the battalion photographed before the war and the book produced later?

Comment left on 15 March 2014 at 08:37 by Jeremy Stone Sorry for the delay in response. I have now checked the booklet and I can confirm that it bears no date. This object was catalogued in Feb 2009, shortly after acquisition and, with sparse detail available at this time, the cataloguing team was required to estimate the catalogue 'early' and 'late' dates for the booklet publication. Their estimate, that it was post-WW1 in the decade 1920, was incorrect and subsequent information obtained from later Cameronians' objects establishes a 1913 publication date. This year has now been substituted in the data shown below the image. Many thanks for your observation leading to this catalogue amendment. Administrator
