Envelope with heading 'British Expeditionary Force' addressed to Capt R H W Rose, 1st Battalion The Cameronians, originally postmarked 2.15 a.m. Oct 19 14, and a second post stamp North Western D Glasgow 3.30 p.m. 23 Oct 14. There is an indecipherable blue pencil annnotation. This is believed to be the return of Mrs Rose's last letter to Capt Rose.
