I believe the private on the right of the picture is William Morse from London shot in the leg December 1914 or early January 1915. He recovered from his injuries and later served with the 8th Battalion in 1917 in Palestine.
He then returned to France and suffered exposure to gas on the Marne 29th July 1918 Comment left on 27 December 2015 at 12:50 by John Morse
