Are you sure about the date here as that looks very like Dan Kennedy on the left if so the photo has to be later. I think I agree with Dan. Rory MacKaskill is just in front of man with bonnet in front of the Eagle, could be a Fraser in front of him. Looks like Donnie Bain at rear of train. Ask Jimmy Melville, he worked at the station but maybe after this. Comment left on 31 March 2010 at 15:49 by Bill Leslie
The other clue to the date is the fact that the "engine" has British Railways on the front that company did not exist until the amalgamation of the big four companies in 1948.
