Colour photograph of the souterrain dig at Cyderhall (Sydera) 1987/88. Mounted on paper with 6 other photos (numbered separately). The hut circle wall, defined by a row of postholes in a semi-circle, and indicated by the string, begins to take shape. Note the bitter cold conditions that had to be contended with ~ the ground had to be covered with straw to keep out frost.
