Mill-hill watermill

Colour photo of site of mill lade at Mill-hill. This and the previous image (2001.004.007/ 008) show the track of the mill lade through the scrub-wood, around the point of the bluff that the present Mill-Hill Croft is built upon, and down the inner side of the boundary fence to the site of the old mill. Mr James Mitchell can be seen surveying the scene in both photographs. Much of these workings have become filled-in in time, but a sufficiency exists today to define the original plan of design of the place.
