Colour photo of the larger Crask house. The larger house, higher up the hillside, and therefore free of the very wet lands lower down, presents its S.E. corner as its most intact wall, the southern gable. This stands a good five feet above ground, yet the remainder has been devastated. We are looking along the front facade in an N.E. direction.
