Sixth of a collection of eight colour photographs of George Dempster. The portrait was presented to the magistrates and town council of Forfar by James Whitshed Hawkins. The plaque at the bottom reads "In memoriam of the benevolence, urbanity, public spirit and undeviating political integrity of that distinguished statesman and patriot George Dempster of Dunnichen".
