Letter on airmail paper to Mrs C Grant, Sunnyside, from Bob Macdonald, a Canadian serviceman, thanking her for her hospitality. Sent from Turnberry, Ayrshire and dated 12/9/1945. Letter written on service paper headed 'On Active Service. Canadian Legion War Services inc, Canadian Knights of Columbus War Services, Canadian Y.M.C.A. Overseas, The Salvation Army Canadian War Services'. The paper is creased where it has been folded and a little discoloured along central fold.
