Colour postcard from the Furness Collection, taken from high ground at the southern end of the crossing at the Mound. The line, if not the rails, of the railway crossing can be seen and the old railway bridge at the northern end is visibile.

A nice view, pity no branch train to complete the photo. The lack of road traffic very noticeable!
