I recall Miss Wright as a teacher at Elgin Academy in the early 1950s before she moved with her brother to Dornoch. She taught me in First Year. She came from Bishopmill in Elgin and knew my grandparents and my parents. She was sweet and sharp and clever, and we missed her when she left. As a pupil, herself, in the early 1930s, she wrote the words for Academy school song.
