Letter dated 18 July 1867 addressed to the Prison Board of Dornoch with a quotation for the provison of heating for the Dornoch Prison. Letter heading has central coat of arms, flanking images of the Royal Scottish Society of Arts Prize Medal Awards for Ventilation and a lower central compilation of various medals awarded to Robet Richie and his Patent Hot Water & Heating Apparatus company based at 16 Hill Street Edinburgh.
