The course was held at Golspie and the certificate states that she received 61 hours of instruction out of a total of 61 hours. On the reverse of the certificate are the details of the course.

Thank you for uploading these certificates of Miss Mary Kennedy Matheson. She was sister to Walter Matheson. (He was one of the winners of the Northern Counties Cup Quartette 1911 and served as a Private in the in the 5th Battalion Seaforths and was killed on the 13th November 1916) Like him, she was my distant relation (2nd cousin 3 times removed). In my family tree research I found Mary was a teacher in the parish of Dornoch. She never married and died on the 11th September 1951 in Dornoch.
