Monochrome photograph of Oversteps with two ladies next to the front door. At the time of cataloguing one of the ladies was thought to Mrs Hacon, owner of Oversteps see picture #9998 but subsequently, during a visit to the museum in 2014 by Mrs Robichaud's grand-daughter she suggested the two ladies are probably Mrs Robichaud and Miss Davidson. Oversteps eventually became a Church of Scotland Retirement Home. Photograph from a CD containing 125 photographs of Dornoch and the surrounding area, scanned from old photos and postcards. Photographs apparently acquired/borrowed by Barry Turner from Mrs Thompson, Castle Hotel.

The description of the photo states that you originally thought one of the ladies was Mrs Hacon, but then decided she was Mrs Robichaud. In fact Mrs Hacon and Mrs Robichaud are one and the same person: after William Llewellyn Hacon's death his widow married a French Canadian, William Robichaud.
