Bridgend Skelbo
This photograph shows the old A9 bridge near Skelbo, en route from Dornoch to the Mound, prior to major road widening and realignment. The stone bridge remains in situ c 50m from the realigned A9 with the house shown similarly further back from the road, with the road bends remaining in place. This photograph acquired from a CD containing 125 photographs of Dornoch and the surrounding area, scanned from monochrome and colour photographs and postcards. Photographs apparently acquired/borrowed by Barry Turner from Mrs Thompson, Castle Hotel.
