Silver plated medal (a) in the shape of an oval belt with buckle, arms of saltire protruding from behind, and lion rampant in the centre. Lettering round the belt reads SCOTTISH TWENTY CLUB INST. 1872. Stamped with the maker's mark EM.
The medal has a ring at the top which fits into a slot in the presentation box (b), which is covered in dark brown paper with a gold border stamped on the top and the words SCOTTISH TWENTY CLUB, also in gold. The base of the box is lined with purple velvet and the lid with faded pale red silk stamped with a gold crown and the retailer's name JAMES ROBERTSON & SON, 101 PRINCES ST. EDINBURGH.

I was looking through my Grandfather's rifle shooting medals when I found your picture. My medal is I think silver but I don't know the year. His name was J G Proudfot and he shot for Scotland in the 30's and 40's.

When my Dad, John R. Louttit died in 2002, I found a Scottish Twenty Club medal but the was lion missing. My Dad's Grandfather also named John R. Louttit shot for Scotland in the 1800's. I would like to know if anyone could tell me where I could purchase this medal in order to replace the lion in the original medal
