Curved snuff horn with silver hinged lid engraved "WM", with silver rim and a silver heart motif on the horn. The inside of the lid is cork.The horn was given by the second or third Duke of Sutherland to William Murray, who was born in Clyne about 1821 and worked as a meal miller in Evelix. Loaned by great grandson Jim Murray from Chesley, Ontario, for two years from 28/9/05. Horn is accompanied by several pages of genealogical information relating to the family.
