Date is probably 1949 to 1951 as the locomotive carries 'BRITISH RAILWAYS' on its tank side. Before BR introduced logos.

The inaccuracy of date arises from the postcard described above which shows the first passenger train in 1902 but currently cannot be viewed. I will amend the date to 1950 as it is correct for the image shown. Administrator
