Cardboard box (a) containing a demagnetiser (b). The box has a paper label on top - PIONEER DEMAGNETISER - with instructions on how to demagnetise watch movements, tools etc. Price 35/-. The demagnetiser is fixed to a wooden base. It consists of a covered coil in an aluminium holder, operated by means of a bakelite push-button also mounted on the base. Power is supplied via a bakelite bayonet fitting to go into a light socket, connected to the unit by a braided cable. Objects to be demagnetised are put inside the coil.
