Black paper-covered wooden box (a) lined with purple felt, holding a brass pivot burnisher (b). The burnisher consists of a brass frame with a small steel wheel at one end. The wheel has 12 differently sized circular holes and can be adjusted to present the hole of the correct size to the end of the work in the opposite side of the frame, which is held in place by a thumbscrew. The work is apparently turned against the wheel manually by means of a bow. The box also contains 14 other small parts apparently related to the tool. Identical to .140.
