A set of bagpipes owned by PC John Jappy of Bonar Bridge.
The bagpipes were bought second hand in the late 1970s from Hugh MacDonald of Airdens, Bonar Bridge (latterly Corran Place, Ardgay). Hugh said that he played then in the Ardgay/Bonar Pipe band. They were believed to be over 100 years old. There is also a chanter in a separate cardboard box.
