"By Command of the King the Earl Marshall was directed to invite Mr Kemp to be present the Abbey Church of Westminster, on the 22nd day of June 1911 for the Coronation of their Majesties King George the Fifth and Queen Mary; the Annual Committee having selected him as the representative of the Convention of Royal Burghs."
