Two handwritten letters to Jimmy Bell, with salutation 'Dear Mr Bell'. The first dated 21 March 1984 refers to the author, A C Caruthers, and Mrs Ross interest in recording Sutherland Burial Grounds. It has a postscript concerning slides of the trees coming down at Golspie, captured by chance whilst motoring past. The second dated 30 May 1984 acknowledges with thanks Jimmy's gift of a Dornoch Archaeology item and refers to joint interest in Sutherland archaeology and other historical matters.
