Large 'On His Majesty's Service envelope

A large brown 'On His Majesty's Service envelope with an Official Paid attached label addressed to Donald M.McCulloch, Stwd. PLx722950, 4 Carnaig Street Dornoch, Sutherland, Scotland, AS63/179 RS56/NIL/43 2819 18Nov.

The Official Paid marking is over stamped 'Portsmouth & Southsea Hants 13 De 46' and there is an blue ink stamp at bottom right 'HMS Victory II 13 Dec 1946 Dispersals Portsmouth' with blue partial obliteration of the 'If undelivered return to: Captain (S) HMS Victory X, RN Camp Stamshaw, Portsmouth' at bottom left.

This envelope contained the documents, including Record of Service, forwarded to Donald McCulloch and has handwritten 'NAVAL DOCUMENTS' on the left-hand side.
