From an email to the museum curator:
"I have attached a copy of the photo of my grandfather, John Chisholm taken in New York outside the Carnegie mansion. We believe that it was taken in about 1928. Ellis Island records show my grandfather first arriving in New York in 1912. After Andrew Carnegie's death in 1919 my father, aunt and grandmother emigrated to New York with my grandfather who continued working for Mrs Carnegie.
