A colour photograph of Miss Lyon’s Voigtlander camera in its leather case. The camera was on loan from Mr G Sawyer for the period of the Miss Lyon exhibition. The leather case top flap provides ready access the viewfinder, with its surrounding metal shield to provide shading. The focusing lens surmounts the camera lens on the front of the camera, with the camera lens surround bearing the German maker’s name Voigtlander Braunschweig. There are only rudimentary 'f' stop and lens focusing settings, requiring photographic experience, with or without a light meter, in the selection of ‘f' stop (aperture thus depth of focus).
