A report from Dornoch Bridge Quarry, Evelix, by Highland Archaeology Services 2017. A staged archaeological project involving preliminary documentary research, walkover survey and trial trenching was undertaken to evaluate the area of a proposed extension (Extension Phases 5 to 9) to the Pat Munro Limited quarry at Dornoch Bridge, Evelix, Dornoch. The project was designed to establish the archaeological potential of the proposed quarry extension areas and the potential impact future aggregate extraction might have upon heritage assets.
