Dornoch Cricket Club was formed in the early 1980's and played friendly matches, initially on a pitch at the airfield and then on an all weather wicket at the Meadows. In 1991, members decided to play more competitions and entered the North of Scotland Reserve League. The club won the league in the first year and played until 1996. No cricket has been played since 1997 and the club was dissolved in 2005.
