Dornoch Heritage Society Exhibition 1995
A 53 minute film produced by Jimmy Bell and Ian Ross-Harper, founder members of the Dornoch Heritage Society, to record the Society Exhibition mounted in 1995.
The film starts with Jimmy Bell's commentary on the archaeology aspects of the exhibition, followed by Ian Ross-Harper commentary on Golf in Dornoch and the history of the Cathedral and religion in Dornoch.
The DVD of this film was originally gifted to the Museum in 2021 and subsequently converted to MP4 format in 2023, with appropriate DVD updating for Historic storage.
During the conversion process it became apparent that Ian Ross-Harper's commentaries on Golf and the Cathedral provide identification of personalities and religious matters not generally known. Separate video access has therefore been provided to the Golf and Cathedral content (2021_069_02 and 2021_069_03 respectively).
