Audit 01 - Mr Moir was headmaster from 1921 -1938. Miss Florence Strachan joined staff in 1927 (English teacher) and retired 1969. Mr W Mackay joined staff in 1921 and was Rector after Mr Moir from 1938 -1946. Miss Davidson taught Modern languages from 1905 -1945 so she taught in the old Burgh school at Schoolhill as well as the 'new' academy.

Original photograph creased in places and has velcro strips attached to back. See also photograph 2003_116 which has some of the same pupils when they were younger.

Any possibility that Gordon Will - top row left - would have been related to Margaret Olive Will who was the Dux of Dornoch Academy in 1936.
Margaret’s Dux medal is held in a private collection of academic awards in Sydney, Australia.
