First of a series of extracts from the Northern Times (Times Past) - 'Court sitting' extract published 9 December 1920 reports on three cases which came before the Chief Magistrate, Provost Mackintosh. The first case concerned a breach of the peace and disorderly conduct, the second case concerned riding a bicycle without a light and the third concerned leaving horses yoked to carts on the public street.
