Extract from the Northern Times of September, 2019, with the title "Treat for 'boys'." The article is a copy of a report from a hundred years ago, September 4, 1919, and records that the factor and workmen at Skibo recieved legacies from Andrew Carnegie's will, estimated to be between 25 to 30 million dollars, (in pounds 5 to 7 million). Each crofter of good standing at Skibo recieved two years remission of rent, and each labourer on the payrolls at Skibo, of two years service or more is bequeathed 50 dollars; of five years service or more 100 dollars.
