Third of a series of 4 pewter tankard measures found in a barn loft at 'Matheson', Balvraid in 1955. A small sized tankard with a missing lid. The handle has remaining lever used to raise the lid. The top rim has a marking of a encircled castle surmounted by a crown, on one side of which is a 'B' and the other side 'IV'. To the right are further stamped letters 'JHDG'.
