First of a series of 4 pewter tankard measures found in a barn loft at 'Matheson' Balvraid in 1955. The tankard is lop-sided as a result of the base being forced into the barrel of the tankard (repeated striking of the base of the tankard against a hard surface?) . There is no indication of the volume of the vessel.
Dimensions: Height 100 mm - Diameter 70 mm
