Four pages of notes by Miss Lyon concerning the history of Evelix Bridge, which now stands alongside the A9 near the turning to Dornoch. Miss Lyon's account provides an indication of position as "on the trunk road between Bonar Bridge and the Mound' and refers to work to be undertaken to divert the main road, by-passing the narrow, hump back Evelix Bridge. At the time of writing, prior to the building of the Dornoch Firth Bridge, the main trunk route from Inverness North was routed via the Bonar Bridge crossing of the Firth.
